ESL Resource

“TALKING ABOUT ALCOHOL AND DRUGS”

Talking About Alcohol and Drugs provides information about alcohol and drug use to adults who speak English as a second language.  This program helps to increase language skills, as well as allows adults to become more informed about alcohol and drug use issues.  It covers such topics as awareness of the consequences of alcohol and drug problems in a Canadian context; the importance of personal and family life skills through the promotion of healthy lifestyles; and information about community resources.  The booklet is intended to provide participants with a summary of the topics covered in the course, and to serve as a resource for future reference.

COST:  $5.00 per booklet (discount available on bulk orders) plus $7.50 shipping and handling
